BIAS Software, an innovative Washington-based provider of cloud-based accounting software for local public agencies has been acquired by Springbrook, a leading provider of fully integrated, cloud-based software for local governments. This is Springbrook’s first add-on acquisition since becoming a portfolio company of Accel-KKR, a leading technology-focused investment firm. BIAS Software provides a fully integrated financial management system for local governments. “At its core, BIAS was founded to serve the needs of local governments and that focus hasn’t changed in nearly three decades,” said BIAS co-founders Mark Felchlin and Wes Hein. “Like the several hundreds of small agencies and special districts that we work with in Washington, local governments provide the essential services – including public safety, health and human services, public works, transportation and infrastructure – that we all depend on every day.
