Discount Coupons Corp. acquires Daily Deal Builder

Discount Coupons Corporation recently announced that it has acquired Daily Deal Builder (DDB), a daily deals software and solution provider. DDB's platform allows business owners to set-up and manage a daily deal or coupon website. Over 150 U.S.-based and international companies use DDB software. The company's founders, brothers Marc and Tyler Horne, will remain a part of the staff of the restructured organization.

Discount Coupons is an internet marketing and technology company that operates daily deal management division and a full-service digital marketing agency. Since 1997, the company has operated DiscountCoupons.com, a website that benefits both businesses and consumers. The company's current acquisition strategy is to purchase more established daily deal websites to expand its customer base.

"The acquisition of DDB is further validation that our team is committed to building a world class Daily Deal organization, said Pat Martin, Discount Coupons' CEO, in a press release. "We expect to see DDB continue to grow as companies realize the opportunity of starting their own Daily Deal business. DDB's software is ideal for anyone who wants a robust Daily Deal site without a large investment in custom software development."

Martin also added that DDB brings new knowledge about web technologies, strengthening Discount Coupons' position as a leading advertising technology firm.

Tyler Horne shared similar opinions, saying in the press release that he and his brother are appreciative of the business merger with Discount Coupons. He noted that with the new partnership, DDB will be able to reach more businesses in need of their services.
